Dear
Family and Friends:
We
hope this letter finds you and your family enjoying the holiday season in good
health and happiness! This has been a very busy years for our family as
I’m sure it has been for yours.
This
fall, Zach (6 years, 11 months and 1st grader) strapped on the
football pads and played football for a pee-wee football league in Winfield.
Zach also played soccer in the spring and baseball in the summer.
This fall he started “Hip-Hop” dance lessons and started as a
“Tiger” Scout. This
summer, Zach started taking golf lessons with his dad.
Andrea
(8 years, 11 months) is the dancer in our family. This is her 6th year
taking dance lessons and she is now taking dance lessons 4 days a week in
Winfield. Andrea is in the 3rd Grade and plays softball in the
summer. She belongs to the local
Brownie Scout troop and had fun riding all of the roller coasters at Worlds of
Fun last spring on Girls Scouts Day. Andrea
has been slowed down this fall with a broken right arm and she had her tonsils
removed right before Thanksgiving.
Lara
continues to teach math (11 years) at Udall High School.
The National Honor Society chapter that Lara sponsors at the high school
has been busy sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt and a Variety Show. Lara spent
a busy summer of shuffling kids between baseball games, dance lessons, golf
lessons and swimming lessons.
This
is Mitch’s 8th year at High Touch in Wichita and this summer was promoted to
Director of Technology for his division. Mitch continues to be active on
the volunteer fire and rescue service in Udall. Mitch and Lara are
Zach’s Tiger Den Leaders. Mitch
has also been developing a website for Andrea’s dance studio (www.theedgeperformingartscentre.com).
This
spring we spent quite a few weekends on the road going to dance competitions and
conventions in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. This
summer we enjoyed a week’s long vacation to Branson where we had a family
reunion for Grandma Alberta’s (Lara’s mom) family. We are hoping to go
to with Andrea’s dance studio to New York City this spring break so that
Andrea can take some dance classes and see the sites.
This year we purchased a new domain for our family web page and we invite
you to visit our webpage at www.kratochvil.us.
We
hope you and your family enjoy the holiday season as much as we have!
